Accura Dealers - Background on Acura
Acura's history is relatively short when compared to its competitors. In fact the Acura brand was only introduced by Honda in 1986, in an attempt to create a luxury brand separate to Honda.
At the beginning Accura Dealers only sold 2 types of Acura cars: The Legend and the Integra. The Legend was a sedan and was the first luxury Japanese made car in the US. The Integra was a sports coupe that became very successful very quickly.
The Acura brand became popular very quickly because it offered many quality features, high performance and reliability. The Acura brand offered all this for a reasonable cost.
In 1991, Accura Dealers sold the NSX which went on to became one of the most famous cars in the Acura range. Accura Dealers marketed the NSX as a rival to the premium cars at the time. Accura Dealers offered many of the same features as these cars, but for a reasonable price.
As the product range grew in the 90's, the company struggled to keep up its quality image. Some of its products were duds and failed to do well in the market. Since the turn of the century Accura dealers have been dedicated towards improving the product range. New ranges of cars such as the MDX, RSX and TSX have become more successful and compete well against their competitors in terms of quality, technology and price!
