Acura NSX
The Acura NSX ("New Sportscar eXperimental") was in production betwen 1990 and 2005. The Acura NSX is a mid engine sports car with rear wheel drive. It has a V6 petrol engine and uses Honda's VTEC system. Production of the old Acura NSX finished in 2005 but Honda have stated that a new model Acura NSX is currently being developed with production expected to begin in 2008.

Acura NSX Type R (NSX-R)
The Acura NSX Type R was a limited production for the Japanese market. Some of the changes unique to the NSX-R were a blueprinted engine that produced 280 BHP and a weight reduction from the standard 1350kg to 1230kg. This car was track orientated as it lacked sound deadening and air conditioning.
Acura NSX Type T (NSX-T)
The NSX-T had a targa roof that added 100lb to the weight of the car. The Acura NSX Type T also had power steering in the manual transmission versions.
Acura NSX Type S (NSX-S)
The NSX-S has been built for the Japanese market.
